Meek Mill probation violation gives him time in big house.
Meek Mill has been sentenced to 2-4 years in prison for violating his probation on a 2008 conviction for drug and gun charges on Monday. He has now been taken into custody by the state of Pennsylvania as ordered by Judge Genece E. Brinkley. In court was cited a brawl that took place in St Louis airport, unapproved travel, and a reckless endangerment arrest in New York city.
Brinkley stated that Meek Mill was given multiple chances to comply with the terms of his probation but has also tested positive for narcotics on multiple occasions.
Brian McMonagle, Meek Mills attorney, has vowed to appeal the sentencing.
